Green glossy leaves and young shoots are harvested from spring and immediately processed for optimal freshness.

Habit - Evergreen shrub with dark green glossy leaves. Will grow to a compact bush two metres high if pruned regularly. Fragrant single white flowers appear in autumn.

Size - 2 x 1 metres if pruned regularly.

Pollination - Self-fertile

Harvest - Spring harvest offers the finest and most tender leaves which are of the highest quality. The summer and autumn harvests produce a more abundant but less delicate crop.
