Blueberry Misty

$0.00

Blueberry Misty provides a high yielding crop of medium sized fruit of sky blue colour. The 'Lily of the Valley" flowers are cream-white with a pink tinge. Blueberry Misty is suitable for the warmer regions. It has a vigorous spreading growth habit and is suitable in the garden, or as a container plant. In addition, the leaves of Misty turn red and yellow colours in autumn.

Although self-fertile (no other blueberries are required for pollination), additional plants or a different variety will increase the yield.

As with all Blueberries, the health benefits of Blueberries are unrivalled from mental health benefits, heart health, bone strength, skin health, blood pressure, cancer prevention, plus many more.

Blueberry Misty ripens throughout summer. After turning blue, leaving the blueberry on the plant for 5-7 days will enhance the flavour. Plant in full sun but will tolerate afternoon shade. Remove dead, diseased or weak wood, prune in late summer remembering that blueberries fruit on second year wood. All Blueberries enjoy a good mulch to ensure the shallow roots don’t dry up over the summer months.
